(15km trekking, 5 – 5,5 hour trekking)
Up on arrival in Lao Cai Railway station early in the morning, we will be met up and transfer to Sapa. Breakfast at hotel in Sapa. Relax little bit then.
08:30am - Private transport will take you to Silver Waterfall, the highest in Vietnam with a 300m drop. An ascent to the base of the waterfall will enable you to explore the surrounding landscape. This is a famous spot and is regularly visited by monks to pray. Continuing our journey, we will drive a further 3km to Tram Ton Pass, the highest road in Vietnam at approximately 2000m above sea level. At this height you will feel a drop in temperature but the views are truly stunning, and you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore and take photographs. A further 3km drive will take you to the start point of your next walk, a descent through the jungle to the Love Waterfall & Golden Stream. This area is known for cardamom crops, used for medicine, cooking and a significant source of income for the minority people.
Our journey will depart with a car riding along a road get to Ban Khoan. After that, you descend on foot through a valley and cross a river. Heading and climbing to village of Ban Khoan of Red Dao minority. You have great opportunities to discover the traditional life and daily activities of local people there. After lunch, our trek will be taken through the corn-farm and the rainy forests in order to get to Ta Phin village of Red Dzao and Black Hmong tribe. There is more chance for you to get to know more about local hill-tribes as visit their home, communicate with them, experience some of their daily activities. Tonight, you stay overnight at the local house.
